The Tale of the Mirror is an allegory of the human predicament of having to be in the world while also having to remain true to our own ideals and dreams. Told in a voice for all ages, this story delights us with its sense of comedy, and touches on some themes that we have all been familiar with. How is it that we can be ourselves, and still enjoy our freedom in the civil world as we grow in it?
